All services are on location — in your home or at the park. Prices below are copied from the current Rates & Services page. Payment is due once the consultation is concluded and/or the lesson begins.
Consultation
Need a professional opinion? Not sure how many lessons you will need? Up to 30 minutes. The consultation fee is waived if you sign up for lessons during the visit — you pay the lesson or package instead. If you buy a package, the consultation becomes part of the first lesson and we start right away.
Private lesson at the park
Pay as you go. One private lesson at the park, weather permitting — for people who prefer I not come to the house. Good for socializing, behavior modification, walking, searching, hunting, AKC CGC training, and the like. Homework between lessons. I teach you how to teach, and communicate with, your dog.
Private lesson in the home
Pay as you go. One private lesson in your home. Behavior problems, obedience, AKC CGC training, crate training, potty training. I work with you and your dog together. Homework between lessons.
Alpha Lesson
A consultation and a private lesson in the home that can last up to 4 hours, plus a follow-up visit as needed. Like having your own seminar about your dog(s) in your house: how your dog thinks, why they do what they do, what you can change, and how conditioning builds associations. You get a canine behaviorist for up to 4 hours instead of an hour at a time. For serious behavior issues, or for people who simply want to understand their dogs. Must be scheduled on weekends, and may be subject to a waiting list.
Bundled private lessons
Best value if you pay up front. Discount depends on how many lessons you buy at once. In-home or park, your choice. Contact Brandon for the exact bundle that fits.
Other services
Nail trim
Per dog. Price varies with difficulty. Clippers or dremel. For difficult dogs that groomers may refuse.
Walking
Per dog. Fuel charge may apply. Up to a 2-hour walk, waste pickup during the walk, and leash training as needed. Includes transport to a nearby park.
In-home bath
Base price. Drying, brushing, and nail trim. You provide shampoo and the tub. For dogs that hate the tub or are afraid of cars.
Puppy Finder program
Help picking the right dog. I come to your home, look at how you live, and match temperament and energy — including a companion for a dog you already have. I call breeders and shelters, inquire, and arrange meetings. Shelter and breeder fees are not included. I do not support puppy mills.
